Sidney 6 Months

Sidney is finally up to 13 lbs. 5 oz
She is all the way up to 7% for her weight, 23% for her head size, and 12% for her length!

She LOVES playing on the floor, smiling at anyone that will look at her, grabbing things especially hair, and chewing on toys. She is eating food really well and so far likes Carrots, Bananas, Peaches, and Rice cereal. She is also amazing at clicking her tongue. She is so good at it that when she starts everyone around her can't help but start clicking their tongue in response. She has us trained well!

She is still a really good sleeper, sleeps through the night, doesn't complain nearly as much when she is in the car seat but still loves you if you get her out.

Her bottom front teeth have been really close to breaking through for a while and the first one did so the day before she was 6 months!

Her dad is so amazed at how well tempered she is. She never cries unless she REALLY needs something. And she smiles more than any other baby he has ever known except for the other two of course :D People will stop us to tell us about her big blue eyes or just have to rave about how cute she is. She will definitely have us wrapped around her little finger as she can win us over with her grin.

Sidney at almost 6 months

Sidney ALMOST has her two bottom teeth. They are going to break through any day now. Maybe the drooling will then diminish? I forget how you think that they are definitely drooling as much as they ever will then it doubles! Now it must be as much as a baby can drool, NOPE! doubles again. :D

She is also doing lots of things with her toungue and is trying to learn new things that we show her. So cute. She has already mastered raspberries and blowing bubbles. Both of which are great with all the drool.

Sidney has mastered in the past week reaching, grabbing, and pulling in something that she wants. It helps us know what she prefers and when she actually is hungry.

As for "talking" she is mastering all sorts of fun new . . . squeals shall we call them? Starts out cute and gets annoying really quickly!

And Katie commented on the first post, so I know that there are more of your out there reading this, so please, can I give you something?!?!?!?! :D

Compliment or Insult?

Twice in the past two weeks I have been at a store and mistaken for an employee. Both times I was wearing my red Utah jacket. I think the color and the fact that it says "Utah" right were a name tag would be make it so I look like an employee. One of the people who asked if I knew where something was turned out to be in my ward. Kinda sad that she didn't recognize me till after I told her that I didn't work there and then asked her how she was doing. On the bright side, hopefully I look like a friendly person that is willing to help you out at the store if you need it!

What are your thoughts?

P.S. I still need one more winner for my pay it forward post!

I am Sad

I just learned that last night a mentor of mine died trying to save her students. She was one of the drum majors my first year in the U marching band. She helped me learn about the discipline, dedication, and perseverance it took to be in a marching band. That was her last year in the band, it was never quite the same without her. Heather, thank you for everything. My prayers are with her family during this very sad time.

Pay it Forward

I am one of the winners of Haiku Amy's Pay it forward. So now it is time to Pay it Forward. The first 3 people to comment on this post get a gift from me. Right now I have no idea what it will be, but it could be fun figuring it out. The only other rule is if you win you have to Pay it Forward to 3 people on your blog.
